About the Program

Focused on reducing preventable maternal and newborn deaths, this initiative provides clean delivery kits and strengthens the capacity of frontline health workers. Activities include midwife and CHEW training, antenatal education, and community-based distribution during MNCH campaigns — in partnership with Rotary Foundation, TY Danjuma Foundation, and state Ministries of Health.

Key Activities

  • Provision of clean delivery kits to expectant mothers to ensure safer births.

  • Training of midwives and Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs) to strengthen frontline healthcare capacity.

  • Antenatal education for pregnant women to improve knowledge of safe pregnancy and delivery practices.

  • Community-based distribution of clean delivery kits during Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (MNCH) campaigns.

  • Collaboration with key partners such as Rotary Foundation, TY Danjuma Foundation, and State Ministries of Health to support implementation and scale-up.
